Recommended Service Intervals: Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz uses a structured system of alternating Service A and Service B intervals, with recommended maintenance at specific mileage and time points, as outlined by the manufacturer and detailed on the official Mercedes-Benz website.
Service A
- First visit: 10,000 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first
- Subsequent visits: Every 20,000 miles or 2 years after the first Service A
Service B
- First visit: 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first (after the initial Service A)
- Subsequent visits: Every 20,000 miles or 2 years after the first Service B.
What’s Included:
Service A (10k, 30k, 50k miles, etc.):
- Synthetic motor oil replacement
- Oil filter replacement
- Fluid level checks & corrections
- Tire inflation check/correction
- Brake component inspection
- Reset maintenance counter
Service B (20k, 40k, 60k miles, etc.):
- All items included in Service A, plus:
- Cabin dust/combination filter replacement
- Brake fluid exchange
Additional Milestone Services
- At 30,000, 60,000, and 90,000 miles: More comprehensive inspections and component replacements are performed, including checks of the engine compartment, undercarriage, suspension, and safety systems.
- The Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System in your vehicle will alert you when service is due, and some models may have unique requirements-always check your owner’s manual for specifics.
Special Notes
- Severe driving conditions (extreme heat, dust, towing, or stop-and-go traffic) may require more frequent service.
